Alaska Photo Contest

Alaska Tour & Travel has kicked off our annual photo contest for 2010 and we are now accepting entries. We are pleased to announce that this year's grand prize will be an Official State of Alaska one ounce gold medallion. Less than 200 of these special medallions are minted each year, and they currently have a retail value of over $1500 each. The Official State of Alaska Medallion can viewed this summer at the Alaska Mint in downtown Anchorage at 429 W. 4th Avenue.

The Grand Prize print will be awarded to the photographer whose photo best depicts Alaska's spectacular wildlife, scenery, people or adventure. The contest is open to visitors and residents alike. To enter, just email us your photo to photos@alaskatravel.com no later than October 31, 2010. Please include a brief description of the photo along with your name and hometown. We will post select entries here on our Photo Contest Gallery. Be sure to read all of the contest rules before you enter.
